The PTA is a group of parents whose aim is to support the school staff in fundraising events, all parents are welcome to be part of this group.
The aim of the group is to raise funds for the school by way of organised events. They include an annual fete or fair, a Christmas Bazaar, jumble sales etc. Competitions are organised for the children, such as ‘design a Christmas card’ and other events which are purely for the enjoyment of the children.
With the money raised by the PTA, many items are provided for the school which otherwise may not be available, particularly subsidising school visits. The PTA endeavour to encourage a sense of community within the school environment and to involve pupils, parents, staff and the local community in its many and varied functions.
